Perigeo Lazio is a volunteers' association born in 2004 of the experience of its promoting members in intervention in emergency areas (Central Africa, Balkans).
Besides the natural vocation to support populations hit by natural and human cataclysms, Perigeo Lazio sets up long term projects aimed to the reconstruction and to the socio-cultural and economic development of the local communities with which it collaborates. It directs its attention especially on the education and the training of children and young people, to help them to be aware craftsmen of the future of their communities.
Perigeo Lazio operates directly, through the organization of development projects and emergency missions and by dispatching its own volunteers, and indirectly by connecting volunteers' associations each other and with the «profit» world, depending of the necessities.
As the Association has a deep acquaintance of the Albanian local reality it supplies attendance to the associations that want to operate in the area, both in the phase of environmental analysis, by writing out of reports, and in the phase of Project building, collaborating, e.g. by compiling of the Stakeholder analisys and the Logical framework.
Moreover, Perigeo Lazio puts to disposition of thirds parties its own competences by organizing traineeships for hazardous zones operators, during which it is taught the modus operandi in order to guarantee high security in spite of the potentially hostile environment.
